I like him. He's a good loyal Republican.

Really mixed. On the one hand, he was the sort of Democrat I really like, but on the other hand I REALLY don't like how he funded the HOPE scholarship.

A good Democrat or a bad Republican. Take your pick. I lean towards the second option.

I approve of his first name. That's about it.

I kind of wish I could be his aide because the awful, awful puns are hard to resist. "Sir, we've gotten you a new Zellular phone. Can I now have a raise? Don't be zellfish." I'd be fired instantly. What an honor!

That video led me to this godawful monstrosity that has absolutely nothing to do with Zell Miller: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fVAXqKugXkg

What's wrong with that?

Far too much of a weather vane for my tastes.

What's wrong with that?

1) It makes the state dependent on revenues from vice
2) For the most part, it's a transfer of cash from the poor to the upper middle class.

Not really sure what makes him a good Democrat.

1) Who made you the arbiter of what is and is not vice? We're not a nation of sour-faced Calvinists down here.

2) It's a transfer of cash from people dumb enough to play the lottery to people smart enough to get the grades needed for a college scholarship.

1) Me. Badger was asking me why I had a problem with the policy Tongue

2) This sort of reasoning is precisely why abortion is the only thing keeping me in the GOP.

EDIT: More to the point, why on earth would you want the state actively assisting in the transfer of wealth from the poor to the upper middle class?
