British hospitals warned over burning aborted fetuses as clinical waste

Professor Bruce Keogh has issued a memo to sufficient hospitals that encourages the elimination of the incineration of fetuses as medical waste, calling it "sensitive" and "inappropriate.

Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Health Services,  Dr. Daniel Poulton (Conservative- Central Suffolk and North Ipswich) slammed the practice, saying it was "totally unacceptable'

Chief Inspector of Hospitals Michael Richards expressed concern that women weren't being given sufficient information about their options.
