Looks I've fallen to second place behind Santander! Surprise

Well, as a former professional pilot and a longtime United 1K (approaching million-miler), I would hope I have been to more airports than you. I fly on average two to three times a week.

Ha! In that case I don't feel too bad being only 13 airports behind you now!

Now I'm at 73 airports (all of which, Nutmeg, I've flown to/from.) I think that puts me in a comfortable fourth or fifth place.

All airports I've been to (surprisingly no Atlanta)

*Passed by/pick-up
Connection only
Origin and Connection at different times
Origin/Destination

US

Albuquerque
Baltimore
Boston
Charlotte,NC
Charlottesville,VA [home airport]

Washington/Dulles
Washington/National

Europe

Dublin
Edinburgh
London/Heathrow
Milan
Prague
Rome
Zurich

Total: 30

10 airports alone in the last 4 years for College, amazing how hard it is to find a consistently cheap airline and connection Tongue

Best Overall (so far): Zurich (Even 12 years later, I can still remember it decently...no airport in the U.S. has matched it...not even SF's new terminal)

Best in the U.S.: Charlotte (Simple layout, great food options, and rocking chairs...I'd rather layover here  than arrive or depart in Dulles)

Worst Overall: Los Angeles (Used 3 of the 8 terminals and they were all dirty and with terrible food choices, and absymal staff)

Worst in Europe: London/Heathrow (Still better than most U.S. airports, but nonetheless it's crowded as hell compared to other 6 I've been to and hard to get to.)

Add Knoxville, TN

Total Count: 31

Add Long Beach, CA

Total: 32

Add College Station, TX

Total: 33

Add: Dallas/Ft. Worth

Total: 34

EDIT: Turns out the connection I made nearly 20 years ago was in Houston, probably the Intercontinental.

Add: Houston/Hobby

I'm including airports I've driven to (as in, driven to the terminal building).

1) Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Intl. (KATL): It's my home airport, but I don't fly often, so most of my visits to KATL involve joyrides on MARTA (they have a station directly connected to the main terminal building,) driving by to see the construction on the curbside canopies, picking up a rental car, and picking up/dropping off relatives. I've never actually flown out of or into KATL.

2) Miami Intl. (KMIA): I flew into and out of this airport for a trip I took to my parents' country of origin, Guyana.

3) San Antonio Intl. (KSAT): When we first moved to Texas, I flew in from New York.

4) I don't remember what airport we flew out of on our move to Texas, but it was either John F. Kennedy Intl. (KJFK) or Newark Liberty (then just Newark; this was pre-9/11; KEWR).

5) Piarco Intl. (POS - this is the airport code, not a descriptor for the quality of the airport lol): Trinidad and Tobago's main international airport; I've only been there for layovers on my trips to Guyana.

6) Cheddi Jagan Intl. (SYCJ): Guyana's main international airport.

I picked up two this year - Madrid and Ft Myers. I'm doing my best to keep pace, but I work more on counties than airports. To count as an airport I've been to, I either have to be in the terminal or on the tarmac (in or outside a plane). To make Nutmeg happy I've put an asterisk in front of those airports where I did not have a take-off or landing.

Cool

My one regret from my time living in Hawai'i is not getting to LUP. The only airport in the islands with more enplanements that neither of us has flown is Lānaʻi.

I can't be bothered to post maps of <10 airports in the vast Southern Hemisphere. Same reason I don't have Hawaii or other isolated islands.
