Executive order #6910

I am appointing maxwell to the office of attorney general.

Senators, you have 72 hours to question the nominee if you have questions.

I do have a question for Mr. Maxwell. Do you believe that your experience as a waterfall will prepare you well for the position of attorney general, and is so, how?

I'd like to thank the great Duke for nominating me to this position. I made a small statement in my home thread about what I plan to do as Attorney General, and I promise to keep up with wiki on a fairly extensive level.

To answer Mr. Matt's question, of course. While I never will have the swag of a, say, Young Based God, I will bring all of my waterfall swag to the job and flood all of these haters with super stupid knowledge.

As of now I have no questions, but I obviously support the nominee, and I believe he is incredibly qualified for the position.

I support the nominee.

Also, Atlasia is currently getting sued, so it might be in our best interest to keep things speedy.

From my view a vote can be started as early as tomorrow evening if no one asks any questions between then and now.

Maxwell has been very active in updating the wiki in recently weeks, if that helps anyone come to a decision on his confirmation. He was one of the first to volunteer for my update the wiki task force. Tongue

I am excited by the prospect of Fmr Senator Maxwell as our Attorney General.

I will ask you a question I have asked other Atty General nominees before: will you have a nice office for us to come and visit (not necessarily sticked)?

I can't promise that, paying maintenance is a drag. But yes, an office will exist.

If we can disregard shua's question on substance (or lack thereof) in terms of it counting, this could be at vote at any time. I will leave that decision up to the VP.

Yeah, Shua's question was clearly a joke question, as was my own. Wink

Senators, a vote is now open on the confirmation of the nominee.

Please vote: AYE, NAY, or Abstain.

Actually it was not just a joke. I do not see why a question should be regarded as lacking substance just because it is phrased in a friendly manner.  I believe it is very helpful for the AG to have an office.

Because we would have had to wait longer to open the vote had the question been determined to be substantial.

That's a ridiculous reason.  If we don't want questioning to delay a vote on a nominee then change the OSPR.
