Whatever it takes for you to go to sleep thinking that the good people get ice cream and soda and the bad guys have to eat vegetables at the kids table, and the bad guys sill "lose", even if they actually win.

Two beavers are better than one.

On behalf of IceSpear, I will handle this.
I'm starting to think (or at least hope) he gets paid for this. These were ALL the threads he's made in the past 6 months:

Had to pick 2. For the record though, this user is a real quality up-and-comer.

We've heard this before.  Given what the Trump Primary Deniers have suffered, I'm not putting my money on the Trump General Election Deniers' prognostications.

Donald Trump, I believe, can get the attention of enough of the independent and Democratic vote to win.  He may not, but he can, and given what he's pulled off so far, that isn't a radical statement.

Actually, yes it is, for right now, anyway. Winning a Republican presidential primary is far different than winning the general election. Trump didn't just snatch up the nomination amicably, he did it using hate and scapegoating that has offended and alienated very large swathes of the general electorate. Considering just what kind of voters comprise the Democratic party, saying he can win over a sizable contingent of them to win in November is plain crazy talk for the time being.

Also, it's not difficult to attain at least a limited understanding of why everyone was so wrong about Trump, yet so many keep acting like it's a giant mystery and anyone who doubts Trump must be ignored because... think of the primaries?! Just my opinion, but, you should read what people say on both sides of the aisle and try to understand what they are saying, instead of writing them off just because some of them may have screwed up their primary predictions.

Go through all of the tabs you have open on your computer right now. Every time you see reddit, x out of that tab. When you're done, close your computer. Get dressed. Leave the basement. Go outside. Wait for your pupils to dilate. If you don't live in a major city, ask your parents if you can borrow the car. If they say yes, get in your car and drive to the nearest major city. Yes, right now. Straight out. Only stop if you need gas.

Once you get there, and I do mean "there" (i.e., not suburbs, exurbs, or anywhere where a majority of people dress like hipsters) locate the nearest subway. Strike up a conversation with the first, eh, fifteen people you're able to on the platform. Schizophrenics, beggars, homeless people, anyone who will talk to you. Don't bring up politics. If they do, fine, just don't introduce the topic yourself.

I guarantee you that by the end of this experience your perspective on life will be wide enough that you'll no longer ask stupid questions like why more people didn't vote for Bernie Sanders.

Also, with respect to the "None of this should have ever happened" claim, keep in mind that Trump has led every national primary poll for over half a year.  The polls are still pretty reliable.

The Democrats won a few state legislative special elections in Oklahoma recently. I think they have a shot at winning it in the presidential election.

Meanwhile, I think Johnson/Weld will take a lot of would-be Clinton voters in Massachusetts, letting Trump win the state.

I think Clinton could win a 40-state landslide and still lose Arkansas.

There's something funny with a 40-years old getting frequently owned by a 13-years old and being openly bitter about this.

But I think we all should move on now.

No one called anyone a right-winger in that post.

Supporting gay marriage is a fringe position in Saudi Arabia. Opposing universal health care is a fringe position in Sweden. There's nothing inherently wrong with having a position that's unpopular in your country.

As for Baker, he could be considered a right-winger depending on the context. It's all relative.

I hope not. But I don't think so. It's gonna be Gingrich, Fallin or Brewer. Maybe Kasich or Christie.

Don't tell me you seriously think Gingrich and Fallin would be better running mates than Corker.
Because let's be honest, anybody who believes Gingrich would be better than Corker deserves a good shut down.

Surprised I'm the only HP voter for New York so far.

Why do you refuse steadfastly to support and live New York values?

Chapter II: The Investigation

#NEVERBUSH MOVEMENT GROWING AMONG REPUBLICANS

A large amount of Republicans are defecting from George Bush, planning to stay home, vote for Dean, or vote third party. Bush's popularity is rapidly decreasing, and it's certainly showing in General Election polls. A leader of the movement, wishing to remain anonymous, said they would not try to run their own campaign, endorsing Chafee instead.

Chafee: Oh ****, the phone is ringing. Who could it be?

CALLER: Nevermind who I am right now. I have some great dirt on Bush. It could make your presidential campaign and ruin Bush's career. I just want to help.

Chafee: Aw, shucks. This is gonna be great!

CALLER: But you've gotta promise me one thing.

Chafee: Gee whiz, I'll do anything!

CALLER: You've gotta promise to shut down the Department of Education and the EPA.

Chafee: Well, as i said, I'll do anything. Looks like I've gotta take some mainstream conservative positions now. Ah well...

NEXT UP: Conventions and the aforementioned investigation[/b]

I have come to the conclusion that TN Volunteer is Maggie Hassan's sock and a roundabout way of saying that she plans to run for President in 2020, regardless of the outcome of 2016.
