I'm a very conservative person, but I am open to voting Democrat if the Republican candidate turns me off for some reason. I have most of the generic Republican beliefs when it comes to the economy, but I'm especially conservative on some social issues. I strongly oppose things like legalizing recreational marijuana and support for the trans community. I think we've gotten way too permissive and libertarian as a society and we let far too many things go un-checked in the name of unlimited individual autonomy. And more often than not I will judge my votes and endorsements on those kinds of issues. I know that my views are most likely not all that popular here, but that's fine. I don't have to agree with you to be a civil human being. And I hope the same goes for all of you. Thanks!
