Overview:

Social: Liberal
Economic: Center-left, “inclusive capitalism”
Foreign policy: Centrist/maybe center-left

Social Policy:

Abortion: I’m pro-choice.
Same-Sex Marriage: I’m strongly in favor of SSM. The government should actively encourage homosexuality.
Drug Laws: Legalize but heavily tax and regulate marijuana. End the “War on Drugs.” Discourage tobacco consumption via cig. taxes, mandatory labeling, and informercials that warn of the dangers of tobacco. Stop big tobacco from selling their cancer sticks to children in developing countries. The minimum age to smoke should be 21 and the minimum age to consume tobacco and alcohol should be 19. Decriminalize but don’t legalize all other drugs like LSD, heroin, meth, etc.
Death Penalty: Oppose with exceptions for those who commit the most heinous crimes (like mass murder or genocide). There are waaaaaay to many people sentenced to the death penalty in the US. It’s absolutely disgusting that hundreds (maybe thousands?) of people are sentenced to it every year. It should be used around once or twice a year at the absolute most.
Gun Control: I support enacting universal background checks, banning bump stocks and assault weapons, and other gun control measures. I obviously oppose banning all guns, but there is not a single politician in America who actually wants to do that despite what the NRA would have you believe.
Religious Freedom: It depends on the definition of “religious freedom.” Everyone should have the right to practice any religion. Businesses shouldn’t be allowed to discriminate based on race or sexual orientation.
Affirmative Action: Affimative action should be based on socioeconomic class, not race.
Political Correctness: It depends, but I oppose it in most cases.
Euthanasia: Support, I guess.
Prostitution: The act of exchanging money for sex should be legalized, but it should remain illegal to start a prostitution-based business. Businessmen shouldn’t be allowed to exploit women for profit.
Pornography: It should quite obviously remain legal. I don’t even understand how it would be possible to ban all pornography. Is there anyone who actually supports a ban on pornography!?
Immigration: Open borders is a great but unrealistic idea. However, we should loosen immigration laws, grant amnesty to all non-violent illegals (aka nearly every illegal immigrant since data has shown that almost every single one of them is non-violent despite what conservatives would have you believe).

Economic Policy:

Minimum Wage: Raise it to $10.10 an hour and tie it to inflation. A nationwide $15 minimum wage is an absolutely awful idea that would kill jobs. A better alternative would be a universal basic income of $1500 a month (which I enthusiastically support).
Right to Work: Oppose
Taxation: Tax capital gains and carried interest as regular income, implement a steep carbon tax, cut regressive sales taxes (except for sin taxes), close all offshore loopsholes, keep the corporate tax at 20%, raise the top income tax bracket to 50%. Tax negative externalities like carbon, soda, cigarettes, alcohol, plastic bags, etc.
Rich people: I love all people, rich and poor. The only thing I hate is hate itself. I love the rich people. Most rich people are great with a few exceptions. I don’t approve of the hateful, bigoted, divisive rhetoric from the far-left that demonizes/dehumanizes the rich and blames the “the millionaires and billionaires” for all of our problems (no one group of people is responsible for all of our problems). However, the rich should pay more in taxes and that tax money should be redistributed to the masses.
Universal Basic Income: Support. It should be set at $1500 a month and tied to inflation.
Healthcare: Universal, single-payer healthcare. Nationalize the health insurance industry. I wholeheartedly support Medicare-for-All.
Education: I have nothing against charter schools, but the government shouldn’t subsidize them and should instead focus on improving public schools. Too much funding is being diverted away from public schools that desperately need it because of government funding for charter schools. There also needs to be much, much tighter regulations on charter schools. There are way too many cases of fraudulent charter schools.
Free Trade: Completely unrestricted free trade should be the ulitimate goal that all governments should strive towards. I wholeheartedly support trade deals like NAFTA, TPP, CAFTA, etc. Protectionism is bad for everyone, especially the global poor.

Foreign Policy and National Security:

Iran: Support the Iran deal.
Syria: We should’ve intervened years ago, but now is way too late. Don’t intervene and let the situation take care of itself. Assad is a horrid man and we should intervene if the situation gets too dire.
Israel/Palestine: I’m pro-Israel and moderately Zionist, but I also strongly support a two-state solution and don’t approve of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.
Russia: Putin is certainly not our ally.

Environment:

Climate Change: Subsidize clean energy sources such as thorium, solar, wind, and maybe nuclear energy, rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement, end subsidies for coal and oil, and slowly eliminate the use of coal as an energy source and shut down every single coal mine in America within the next the decade (alongside heavy investment in retraining miners and helping them find new jobs).

Electoral and Political Reform:

Term limits: Support for the POTUS. Oppose for Congress.
Electoral College Reform: Abolish the Electoral College and replace it with a first-past-the-post system.
Voter ID: Oppose. We should have universal voter registration and Election Day should be a national holiday.
