To quickly summarize my political beliefs, I consider myself a conservative on economic issues, a neocon on foreign policy, and socially centrist.

I forgot to do this when I first signed up, so I'll do it now.

Social Policy:
Abortion: I find abortion to be immoral, but I still support keeping it legal, though I am moving to the right on this issue.
Same Sex Marriage: Of course we should legalize gay marriage! It's a shame that this is even up for discussion!
Drugs: Legalize marijuana, but that's it. Keep other drugs like heroin, cocaine, etc. illegal. We should also end the War on Drugs, which has obviously failed.
Stem Cell Research: I don't think the government should be in the way of scientific progress.
Death Penalty: I support the death penalty, but only in very extreme cases.
Gun Gontrol: I oppose any new gun control legislation.
Affirmative Action:Affirmative action based on race is basically discrimination, and I'm a minority that dosen't qualify for AA (I'm Indian, the Asian kind.) I strongly oppose race based AA.
Prostitution: Even though I personally support prostitution, I support having the states decide.

Overall, I consider myself to be centre-left on social issues.

Economic Issues:
Minimum Wage:Raise it to $10.
Welfare: I strongly support welfare reform.
Right-to-Work: I personally support it, but the states should decide.
Taxation: I support across the board tax cuts, and I believe tax cuts do help stimulate the economy.
Healthcare: I oppose Obamacare, and support a privitized health care system.
Social Security: Don't privitize SS, keep it is as it is.
Trade: Free trade is a great thing. In this modern day and age, we can't impose protectionist tarriffs and extreme regulations, though I agree that there needs to be some regulations. I also support free trade agreements like NAFTA. We've been living in a global economy since the end of the Cold War, which is a good thing. I think most protectionist are either die-hard leftist, or right-wing, nationalists.
Education: I strongly oppose school vouchers.
Balanced Budget Amendment: I support a Balanced Budget Amendment.
Enviroment: We need more incentives and laws to help protect the environment.
Deregulation:I support it.

Overall, I cosider myself to be centre-right on economic issues

Foreign Policy and National Security
Afghanistan: Starting the war was a good decision, but I believe we should end the war by the end of this year.
Iran: Diplomacy is far better than war.
Cuba: Keep the embargo.
Military Spending: Keep as is.
Immigration: I support a path to citizenship, and making it easier to come to this country. I believe that immigration is good for the economy, and my parents are immigrants, which influences my decision on this a lot. I don't see any legitimate argument against a path to citizenship.
Guantanamo Bay: Keep Guantanamo Bay open.

Overall, I consider myself to be moderately neoconservative on foreign policy.
