State Sen. Shirley Turner is considering. Seeing as how she voted against marriage equality, I doubt she makes it far in the primary if she runs.

She'll be 73 on Election Day.

Probably in disgust for how badly he lost to Cory Booker in the primary Gee, a choice between a progressive rocket scientist and a Wall Street stooge? Hmmm, hard decision there.

Sad news. Who will defend the good people of New Jersey from the neoliberal, union-busting, anti-education thug Booker now?

I will forever hate NJ for choosing Cory Bain over Holt.

And then a lot of NJ "Democrats" endorsed Christie because of corruption. The NJ Democratic party is shameful.

I think Holt is highly overrated, he's been mostly a backbencher. I don't believe in propping up any politicians just because they are progressive. That's just as silly as conservatives propping up people like Ted Cruz for ideologically purity reasons.

I have nothing against Holt, but I'm almost glad to see some progressives retire, because of all the silly propping.

No there were 3 progressives in the 2013 Special Election Dem Primary for the NJ US Senate Seat with Holt, Pallone, and then NJ Assembly Speaker Shelia Oliver running. I don't even know why Oliver ran in the first place its not like she had a shot to win the primary. With that said what's the difference between Pallone and Holt in their US House Voting Records? Not really anything.

Borderline-sexist commentators can relax: Buono isn't running, and is instead endorsing Watson Coleman.
