Ouch. Despite this drop for Raimondo, I'm still pulling for her and think she can make it out. Sure, she does horribly among unions over the pension cuts, but Taveras has some explaining to do to plenty of Providence voters upset with the economy while 7 in 10 Rhode Islanders want their candidate to have held a prior electable office which doesn't go well for Pell. Even as he increases his name recognition though, his polling numbers should get better, but won't win. Taveras has a small advantage if he actually leads Raimondo among women, but with the primary still ways off and a possible Liz Roberts run, I wouldn't read too much into this just yet.
