OK, I have two states:

State A bans private schools and suburbs. But strippers can be naked in any strip club, even one that serves alcohol.

State B allows private schools and suburbs, but strippers can only be topless in places that serve alcohol. They can only be naked in non-alcoholic clubs.

State B is Minnesota, which I do like despite this minor inconveninece, but is there any reason I would prefer living in Minnesota to the ficticious State A?

That really seems like a minor inconvenience BRTD.  Topless dancers, I would assume, are just as good as fully nude dancers.  Could you go into why this rule inconveniences you?

It inconveniences him because it is the only way he could ever get to see a girl naked in real life.

Just because you hate something doesn't mean it should be illegal or gotten rid of. Your view of society is purely selfish, quite ironic for someone who once proclaimed himself a communist.....

no, the problem is that it's a lot easier to just pay $10 to get an naked (or almost naked in the case I'm talking about) girl to rub her breasts on your face than get a girl to get naked and do more "things", although it does last longer than 3 minutes and is overall more satisfying. Luckily I broke my dry spell on that over spring break, and hell, maybe I will tonight since I'm probably going out. But like I said, it's not a big deal, I just think the less clothes on a stripper the better.

You think communists want to allow private schools? I explained why I hate them and think they should not exist. They simply create class repression and inequality of opportunity.

Neither are private schools and suburbs. My life would be no worse if they didn't exist.

A socialist who thinks only for himself.  Why am I not suprised?

well the point is as I have no use for private schools or suburbs and do have a use for strip clubs, why should I think the existance of the first two is more important?

If you gave me a choice between keeping the status quo or making it possible for strippers to remove their thongs in alcohol serving clubs in Minnesota but only if all the suburbia disappeared, I'd chose the former (actually getting rid of all that hideous sprawl would be a good thing anyway, all one needs to do is drive to Minneapolis and back on US-169 to see what I'm talking about). Furthermore if I had a choice between keeping either private schools or keeping my college's program of distributing free condoms, I'd choose the latter.

I can't think of who else is up for the award, but BRTD has to be in the running for biggest forum hypocrite, that's for sure...

Less Free.

And a hell of a lot worse, at that.

I think most of us would agree that overall it's more free.

I think 75% say you are wrong.  :-)

No, but considering true communism works on the basis of all being equal, your placement of your own needs before the needs of everyone else is incredibly ironic.

USA means the way our system is right now, BRTD Land means the country according to this proposal.

The thing to understand is that you would still be paying for utilities through taxes. The deciding point is that an individual is free to start a power company in our system while it would be impossible in your system.

Verdict: USA

This is really three issues in one

1. Freedom to use drugs. Clearly, BRTD land is more free on this issue.
2. Government provided free healthcare. Our present system is more free in this respect. Having free healthcare means paying for it in taxes, and taking away the doctor's freedom to choose who to work for.
3. The combination. Not quite sure what to say on this. Call it neutral.

Verdict: Tie

What about the freedom to choose where to send your child to school?

Hmmm... this issue boils down to paying for it at the cashier or paying for it at tax time.
Or course, government can't replace brands and competition and therefore would make them more expensive.
