Ah. But seriously, the anti Hispanic wing of the GOP makes me furious, and I seriously would have voted for Obama over Romney in 2012. Also, gay marriage is another issue I am at odds with Republicans on, like most young Republicans.

Obama, just stop pretending to care about poverty unless you're willing to fight for far-reaching solutions that tackle the root of the problem (i.e. capitalism) instead of half-assed solutions like a $10 minimum wage or continuing the incompetent and insufficient welfare programs.

Obama's advocating for state and local governments to act on the minimum wage issue.  That's probably the only way private workers will benefit.
