Article.

Land (R)- 44%
Peters (D)- 36%

The article says that this is due to Land's name rec, as Dems lead by 1 on the generic Senate ballot. Obama's 35/55 approval isn't helping Peters, though.

Harper is a garbage poll. This electorate is 38% conservative, which is pretty high for Michigan. That slum lord (rumor has it) isn't going to win by 8%, much less a decimal point.

I think Land is leading here, but 8 points seem a bit large.

Some of her management company's properties have a bad reputation around the Grand Rapids area for being up to par and having problems with crime.

I highly doubt Obama's approval is lower in Michigan than it is nationally. In fact, I don't think any poll has shown it at 35% or below, ever.

Land is probably ahead by a couple points by now, but Peters still has plenty of time to build name recognition.

Yeah, I think we can dismiss this poll as junk, or at least that it's OTT.

Others have already said it, so I won't.

Land is probably slightly ahead, but definitely not by 8 points.

I'll wait for another poll to confirm this, even PPP can get it wrong sometimes.

First they say, "LOL at anyone believing a Michigan-based pollster!!!" Now it's, "Well, PPP can be wrong sometimes..."

The excuses will have me literally doubled over next year.

MI senate we definitely need. It more to do with Schauers chances than Peters who is a better candidate.

I'd say about 5 points or so.  She's probably further ahead than PPP had her, but not as much as this poll has it.
