This sounds, to me, like a false dichotomy.  God, of course, is the final judge, but that ability to judge need not override His desire to love and forgive.  As someone who does not believe homosexuality is a sin or immoral in any way, I would say this falls into that category.  However, as most other things go, I cannot say for certain whether God is more of a judge on some issues than others.  All I know is that God is willing to forgive those who forgive others and judge those who judge others, hence the Golden Rule.  Everything else is pretty arbitrary to us as we are fallible humans.

To the degree that God is judgmental, it comes from His love.

I guess this. It sounds right. My mind is too lazy to really square the circle right now, but my mental surveyors see it as realistic that the two could meet up.

This, plus my own LDS belief provides the doctrine that everyone goes to a level of heaven, even the worst of the worst, as long as they don't deny God when they have literally seen him. The levels of heaven are called the degrees of glory, and you go to these heavens as long as you don't say "God doesn't exist" when you know full well he does (note to atheists, this doesn't apply to you, you haven't seen God, so you don't face these consequences of denying him; it'd be like the LDS prophet seeing God in a room, strolling out, and saying "God doesn't exist").

And all of these degrees of glory are considered to be better than Earth, so it's a sign of God's love.

God's love and forgiveness are made so clear in the Bible. His judgement, to me, is when we do not live up to those values, but in the end He will forgive us if we ask.

OT--more judgey
NT--more lovey

And then there's that whole whacked out story they tacked on at the end.

More loving, of course.  Anybody who says otherwise hasn't really taken the time to read the Bible extensively.

Option 4 comes closest to me, but my unequivocal answer is that no one knows, nor can anyone know.

It's surely possible that there's a higher being that we would call a god(s) (would some animals call us gods if they could?- IDK), and if there is I think he, she, it is not interested in what happens here. At least there appears to be no reason to think so.

If I were convinced that God existed, I would think He set up a colossal struggle between us and nature to see what would happen; we currently have the upper hand, although that's only recently so.

More loving. I wouldn't be religious if I thought it was Option 2 or 3.

He killed every firstborn son in Egypt if their parents didn't put blood on their door. That's my answer.

God is a merciful loving God who is long-suffering in his judgement and is willing to forgive us of our sins if we accept Christ as our Lord and savior.
