Do you prefer Whites or Coloreds?

All lights are created equal - except for the broken ones, of course.

Anyway, whites are more spiritual and coloreds are more festive.  I guess I'm partial to whites.

Multi-colored Christmas lights often look tacky, but I do think there's a place for other colors and combinations and colors. Strands of blue Christmas lights, for instance, look fantastic on some outdoor trees, as do other colors:

The coloured lights are usually nicer, though strings of white lights are still preferable to coloured lights when the latter are arranged poorly or have strings with awful combinations.

There is nothing better than the old school, colored C-9 Christmas lights.

Multi, especially for a Christmas tree. White can be alright sometimes, but I really don't like white icicle lights (namely when it's all some people bother to do).
