Won an electoral majority as Kennedy/Humphrey on normal mode.  Ran as a mainstream Democrat on economics, while going hard left on civil rights.  To win with this ticket you have to nail down CA, WI and MO.

Played as Romney/Ryan on normal difficulty and ran hard to the right. This is what I got:


Barack Obama / Joe Biden - 347 EV,  69,465,362 votes (53.4%)
Mitt Romney / Paul Ryan - 191 EV,  59,304,493 votes (45.6%)

I also played as Obama and ran as a left-wing populist and got this:

Mitt Romney / Paul Ryan - 332 EV, 67,901,139 votes (52.3%)
Barack Obama / Joe Biden - 206 EV, 60,736,173 votes (46.8%)

George Wallace/???: 12.0%, 39 EV
Richard Nixon/???: 37.6%, 31 EV

Only 2 states were decided by less than 2%, ND (1.5% diff.) and SD (0.5% diff).

I called for a bombing halt, peace negotiations, and a national healthcare system. Nixon refused to debate, and was found to be behind sabotaging the peace negotiations.

Nixon's best state was Utah (49.8% of the vote)

Did better than 95.6% of Humphrey games on Easy.

Played as Mitt Romney/Tim Pawlenty and ran a socially moderate, fiscally conservative campaign. I got an interesting result:


Barack Obama / Joe Biden - 276 EV, 63,769,695 votes (49.5%)
Mitt Romney / Tim Pawlenty - 262 EV, 63,786,310 votes (49.5%)

Virginia flipped Democrat even though I was ahead there most of the game, and only by 0.3%! Angry
