To all of you anti-death penalty pro-abortionists,  You support killing innocent children, but not the worst of our society? Pretty sick I must say.

With regards to abortion, government is allowing what some see as killing. With capital punishment, government is performing the killing.

It is killing, regardless of whether you think it is right or not.

To all of you anti-death penalty pro-abortionists, You support killing innocent children, but not the worst of our society? Pretty sick I must say.

People who call others "pro-abortion" is a giant misrepresentation of most people's position.  Abortion, in my view, is a very traumatizing procedure to go through that should be the ultimate last resort - but I still feel that it should be a resort.  Up until the organism becomes a fetus, it's very debatable (if you don't resort to quoting Bible verses) whether or not it's a human life as we know it.  Before two months after conception, it has no brain.  Before two and a half to three weeks after conception, it doesn't even have a heartbeat.

The argument is not, "Is it okay to kill a human life?"; it's, "Is it a human life at this stage?"  Any attempt to peg people opposed to the illegalization of abortion as being in favor of the killing of babies is nothing more than an attempt to ignore the very real actual debate on this issue.

so, WWII doesn't count to AuH2O? Incidentally, that's really the only war in our nation's history that I would consider absolutely morally justifiable.

Not even close to being justifiable. By far the most inhumane war the US conducted.

Well let's see, first we were attacked by an imperial power, and then after declaring war on them we had war declared on us by imperial powers in Europe than were trying to kill off a large portion of the population, what's inhumane about that?

Withdraw troops from Iraq: No (if they pull out more people will die than if they stay)

Too late, we already killed 100,000 Iraqis.

LOL, more like 20,000 on the extreme top level estimate.

Here's the 100,000 figure.

If you don't like high estimate, then go with a low estimate on how many people Saddam killed. Either way, we're killing the Iraqis faster.

To all of you anti-death penalty pro-abortionists,  You support killing innocent children, but not the worst of our society? Pretty sick I must say.

Very simply, life begins at birth. Most abortions are in the first trimester, and these "partial-birth abortions" are quite rare and are usually to save the life of the woman, or something.

A woman deserves to die if she would comtemplate killing her child but, to your "survey"...

Here's the 100,000 figure.

The government says 10-30K, some magazine says 100K, no one knows, but it most likely falls between 10K-70K.  Either way, we've alot less Iraqis have died while we've been there, then when Saddam was in power and in the long run, the discrepency will widen.

We've been there 2 years compared to Saddam's 24. We've definitely killed at least 1/12th as many people.

Estimates I've seen point to as many as 1.5 to 2 million people killed under Saddam.

I'm assuming by morning after pill, you mena the actual morning after pill and not Ru 486.
No, I meant Ru 486 and that's why I said "no" to it.  Too late to correct that now for all the people who responded.
