With all the great strides we have made to improve the rights of working people to organize, it seems that we have neglected to protect the right of union organizers to help unions form. This Act prevents intrusive actions on the part of employers and gives union organizers the same right to the workplace as employers while speeding up the elections process. It is a decent bill that deserves the support of the Atlasian Senate.

I don't like a minimum fine being instituted, because that largely functions to burden a smaller businesses over large ones.

Would you rather see a maximum fine, or perhaps a percentage based fine, as has been enacted under the Labor Rights Act?

A percentage would be best, in my opinion. I'll offer an amendment as soon as Yank processes this one.

I have no further additions, and unless someone does, I'm fine with a final vote.

So you're going to have union representatives wandering around summer camps and CIA HQ?

Are summer camp counselors and CIA agents not allowed to unionize?

I am torn on this. While I respect workers' rights to organize, I also respect business owners rights to not want to run their business with unions involved, or allow them to shut it down if a union organizes there...
