As it clearly states in the letter, Walker did not send this.  Taylor Palmisano did.  The thread title is wrong.

You do realize the campaign team speaks on behalf of the candidate correct?

Can't imagine Walker being the first candidate to do this.

Yeah, but I doubt he knew about it.

You're a mean one, Scott Walker. Posted to fit the season and the character:

Ignorance is not an excuse, it was stupid email to send out. Any candidate who doesn't clear what goes out is pretty stupid, as that can cause all sorts of liabilities if a staffer goes really over the top.

Indeed it is so bad that one possible assumption is that it is created by a political enemy.

The campaign aide who sent the email out has been fired, but not for sending the email out.

Instead he's been fired for his outreach to the Latino community

Taylor Palmisano is a she, not a he.

And she is a horrible, racist piece of $#!%.

And ironically, her grandparents were probably called greasy wops who needed to go back to Sicily by the Republicans of their day.

Right-wingers tend to lack empathy.

Much the same has been said of Tom Tancredo. Some Italian-Americans dislike being confused with Hispanics.  Well, they share some Roman heritage, don't they?

(insert tea party koch brothers joke here)

I hope this moron loses his re-election bid next year. If you try something as plain dumb as this, you deserve no mercy from anybody but the Koch Brothers.

There should be a coffee table book that is a compilation of outrageous things like this that should be an article from The Onion, but aren't. It would be called "I Can't Believe It's Not From The Onion!"

Scott Walker is adept at letting others do the dirty work for him. They take the fall and he faces no unpleasant consequences.  One can go only so far with that before one's fortune runs out with such a strategy.

He is not a moron; he is an unfeeling True Believer.

Here's the money to send to the Walker campaign for re-election:

http://rebelstatescurrency.com/confederate.html

Worthless as legal tender since 1865.

As a collectable, Confederate currency is worth more in U.S. dollars than its face value in C.S. dollars.  If I could be certain it was genuine (there are a fair number of fakes out there) I'd happily take Confederate currency at face value.

The low-denomination amounts rendered useless due to inflation during the Civil War and usually lost or destroyed are expensive.
