i know i will get a lot of 'lolz' for democrats who arent over the scott brown victory yet.

if coakley wins the governor's race in 2014, could she be a vp possibility.  she has been an outstanding attorney general with a solid record.

her campaign skills are what sucks.

You sorta need campaigning skills to be placed on a presidential ticket.

Cheney was a beast. He was a vicious attack dog, which is what Bush needed. Lieberman was a disaster. Democrats would want to repeat a mistake like that why exactly?

Plus an all northeast female ticket isn't going to happen.

This. Also, what does she bring to the ticket? Massachusetts is already solid D and the top of the ticket will already likely be a NE Democratic woman (either Hillary, Gillibrand, or Warren).

If you count Hillary as a northeast female, there is at least a 85% chance of this being the case.

This shocks you?

Coakley is never going to recover enough to be seriously considered for a national office. Losing what was a safe Senate race in freaking Massachusetts? Come on.

The person with the best shot at upsetting her is Elizabeth Warren.

I now recall another female governor from a safe state who was put on a ticket after only being elected two years earlier and had sh!tty campaign skills....

So no.

Besides if you're going to pick a woman from Massachusetts, why on Earth would anyone take Coakley over Elizabeth Warren?

Martha Coakley would be an ok running-mate for Brian Schweitzer, Joe Manchin or Mark Warner, but definitely not for Hillary Clinton or any other Democratic candidate.

While Palin was a nutjob, accusing her of having s**ty campaign skills is rather silly.

And that makes her worse how?

And once again what happened the last time a recently elected female governor from a safe state who was bad at campaigning ended up on a ticket?

Not having gaffes and sounding like she did on the Couric interview are things good campaigners should be able to do.

Moderate Democrat who loses a race in a state where liberal Democrats (Patrick, Warren, Markey) regularly win. Hell no!

After putting away Kenny Waters for something like 20 years with flawed evidence, Martha Coakley has become an embarrassment to the legal system. I doubt anyone would want her baggage on a presidential ticket. She is not articulate and unable to relate to people as well.

Maybe the Republicans can run Dino Rossi as VP to match up with Coakley's awesome skills.
