I'm hoping for a respectable season for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.  Neither are likely to win the national championship, but I'm hoping for a Sweet 16 berth for at least one of the teams.

It is certainly an exciting time to be a Jayhawk, then again, when isn't it? Tongue

Tuesday should be a fun game, but it won't be easy. They just needs a bit more developed. I think this team could go very deep in March, though. This may be the most talented team Bill Self has had at KU, and that is saying a lot.

Mississippi State is currently in dark times, but there is hope for the future.  If everything goes right for us this year, we might sneak into the NIT.

Ok, so that is where he transferred to.  He is good shot.  He lead our school to one state championship and another state final appearance.

Big games tonight - Kentucky vs. Michigan State and Duke vs. Kansas. Anyone who isn't rooting for the Spartans and Jayhawks hates America.

Nice win by the Badgers - always an underrated team!

It helped that Florida had 3 players suspended for a violation of team rules, but still a win is a win. This team may have more talent and athleticism than any team Bo Ryan has had in at least 5-6 years. I'm excited to see how this year will go.

The Obamas were here for the game on Sunday. It was an interesting experience; with all the security at the entrances to the arena, it felt like an airport. I was down in the second row on the other side of the court, so I didn't get a good view, but my friend got a picture of the First Lady:

I'm hoping Providence can finally make the tournament again this year.  We hung with Kentucky for a while at the Barclay's on Saturday but they pulled away in 2nd.  A win tonight against rival URI puts us at 8-2. Obviously all will come down to how they do in the Big East.

Wisconsin hasn't lost a game yet and if they can beat Marquette next week they should be undefeated by the time they start conference play.

Baylor is still reeling from a loss to Syracuse in Maui... can they recover to beat the Wildcats... Can the Wildcats move up after #1 Michigan State's loss to North Carolina?
