What's so cringe worthy about it?  Granted, I've only watched the first sixteen minutes to get a feel for it, but I found him speaking mainly truth, in that there are many who are falsely self-assured of salvation which is a truth that many would not care to hear. (Tho I doubt we put the same interpretation on John 14:6.  And I disagree with him concerning the hate of God.  God does not hate us, but God's love does not prevent God from being angry or from handing down harsh judgements when we do wrong.)
