It's funny to watch all the flip-flopping over the Virginia Governor's race. When Cuccinelli was ahead, Democrats were cautiously tweeting about the election not being a predictor of 2014 or a mandate on Obama's administration, while Republicans were saying it was a good sign for 2014 and evidence we were right on Obamacare and the shutdown. Now it seems both sides are saying the opposite of what they were saying an hour ago.

Amendment 66 in Colorado is down 65-35. Last I checked it was only narrowly passing in Denver County. That is pretty stunning stuff. This state is a real wildcard.

In other news, Bradley Byrne is narrowly leading Dean Young 51-49 with a little over half of the vote counted (AL-1 Primary). Lets hope it stays that way.

Obenshain´s lead on Virginia elections site is down to about 30 thousand votes. It is getting close.

Not that anyone cares about Houston municipal politics, but Annise Parker is looking to win a third (final) term without a runoff.

And Helena Brown, the fundamentalist Catholic Tea Party HP city councilwoman, will most likely be facing a run-off against Brenda Stardig, the "Mainstream Republican" who she defeated in 2011.

hey that's really cool!

only I don't know why some of these maps are showing Cucc. winning Williamsburg by 1 vote. The SBOE has McAuliffe ahead 63-31-6.

I noticed that too. I don't know which to believe, since the ones showing Cooch winning have higher totals.

Ok, it appears whoever or whatever is inputting the website applications mixed up the Gubernatorial vote by applying the Westmoreland Co. votes to Williamsburg.  SBOE is correct.
