Amendment 66, the big tax hike in Colorado, is going down in flames.

And that with a more than ten-to-one spending gap, too. Not only does that make Michael Bloomberg 0-for-3 in Colorado elections this year, but it is also a major loss for Governor Hickenlooper and suggests that Colorado's conservative rebellion is strong.

The CO GOP is near dead.  I'll continue to believe that until they win another big statewide race...last time being '04 when Bush beat Kerry by 4.7% points.

Hopefully Byrne will pull it out. Young will make just another nutcase in the massively damaged reputation of the US House of Representatives.

Still, this is a sign that the moderate/conservatives are alive and well in the state and they are willing to reject the liberal policies that their state government offers them.

I apologize if this has already been posted, but here's the map of the VA race so far:

http://servweb.us/electionresults/

hey that's really cool!

only I don't know why some of these maps are showing Cucc. winning Williamsburg by 1 vote. The SBOE has McAuliffe ahead 63-31-6.

My prediction is that Herring barely barely makes it. By about 0.2%.

Say what you want about the state GOP, but clearly conservatism in Colorado is quite alive. I'll happily take historic recalls and a major tax defeat for an increasingly unpopular liberal governor any election.

These networks are pathetic.  McAuliffe up 10,000 votes or so and almost all precincts left are in democratic areas and most STILL haven't called this.

I noticed that too. I don't know which to believe, since the ones showing Cooch winning have higher totals.
