Kind of weak numbers for Graham in the general and especially the primary.  I don't think we'll see a different senator in that seat next year, but if the Tea Party wanted this seat, they could give him reason to worry.

This is still a year out. I could see Graham going down in the right time.

Except I wouldn't be likely to support a democrat, so its a lose/lose situation for me.

Gowdy could primary Graham.  I wish he would run.  Graham definitely needs to be primaried.

I doubt Jay Stamper will end up being the Democratic nominee.  He's barely one step better than Alvin Greene. If he does become the nominee, then this seat is Safe R.

If Lindsey Graham does not get renominated, I think Lee Bright is the most probable of his current challengers to get it.  Bright has problems and would likely do worse than Tim Scott in the general election, yet because Scott is likely to do worse than Graham and the prospects are better for the Democrats in the statewide races, I'm doubtful that the top tier of the limited Democratic bench will contest this race.

The only real hope for Democrats is if a top tier candidate were to step up and ey was to face Bright and not Graham in the general.

Graham is starting to make friends with the Tea Party again by recently promising to block executive appointees over Benghazi, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Tea Party focuses more on the Senate races in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, or Maine, but there's no doubt they'll endorse Lee Bright throughout no matter how awful he does in the primary. He certainly won't do as horrendous as Larry Rhoden perhaps, but won't be as competitive as Matt Bevin will be.

Both SC races I consider safe R at this point and we'd really be better off bringing the Democratic offensive south into Georgia.
