Did I miss the amendment to the Constitution saying a President may now serve unlimited terms?

Jack Kemp is pretty cool for a Republican. I used to say I'd vote for him over Dems. I think I remember him saying he thought the party went too far right and didn't think he'd be a viable Pres candidate. But how old is he now??

The field of dreamers looks more like the real list. Glad to see Edwards fares well on the list.

Nick, does that "One America" bumper sticker refer to Edwards? Seems like his line.

Yes.  I trimmed the banner from his website down a bit and put it in my sig.  I love that line.  Smiley

Jack Kemp?  I guess anything is possible.

Also, Romney comes from a solid political dynasty, though one not much liked by some in the GOP.

P.S.  Do they want to lose?  Edwards can't win.  I highly doubt that this list is reflective of who Dems acctually want.

Their GOP list is literally a joke, whereas the Dem one merely sucks.

Whoever made that list was high. I like that Kulongoski is on there though. Cheesy

(And #1 on one list, on less!)

Hey, he's been known to surprise Wink

All right, it is completely ridiculous, but it's time someone from Oregon got some recognition.

The list is pretty strange, to say the least.

I'm suprised to see Gov. Brad Henry of Oklahoma on the Dem. longshots list.  I don't think he would have much of a shot, but he may have more of a chance in 2012 than 2008.

Hillary, in my mind, should be at the top of the longshot list or the bottom of the serious contenders list.

I think the Democratic party needs to move away from the Clinton legacy, and that means Hillary, Bill, and Al Gore.

Both parties need to embrace younger candidates like Sen. Evan Bayh (IN) or Gov. Brad Henry (OK) for the Dems and Sam Brownback (KS) or Rick Santorum (PA) for the GOP and possibly Sen. Tom Coburn (OK) in 2012 or 2016

Not sure about the Democrats having to move away from the Clinton legacy though I have strong reservations as to whether Hillary can win.
Nevertheless, shouldn't economic growth and fiscal responsibility be at the heart, among other things, of a Democratic agenda? And with Bayh, you can add strong defence into the creed as well

Coburn? Wouldn't he be too extreme for moderate Republicans? (I know there's still some of them left)

The Republicans will never nominate Coburn...we do have some sense, you know...

It's not like we pick the most extreme candidate every cycle.  We never picked Pat Buchanan or Alan Keyes...

I'm not bashing the Republican's my any means.  I am still a registered Republican, though my icon shows Democrat.  That's because I'm open to both sides of the aisle.

Coburn probably is too conservative for the White House, but I was just throwing out names, trying to get Oklahoma on the national political map.  As for Pat and Alan, I'm glad our Republican party never picked them.  They're too radical for my liking.

Probably too conservative for the White House??  As Keystone knows I have bashed Santorum quite a few times for being way to the right, but compared to Coburn even Santorum is a liberal.  Coburn is absolutley insane
