Has the Pacific Northwest ever had a nomination convention? Say, Seattle, Portland, or Vancouver?

I also think we are do for a run of small  but mighty cities for conventions: Columbus, Cleveland, Buffalo, even a bid from Detroit (don't laugh-an excuse for massive re-building and clearling), Indianapolis. Smaller venues may be a bit cheaper and more willing to cater to the Conventioners.

I wouldn't even rule out an experimental cyber-convention of sorts at some point.
