Hey everyone! Let's play a very simple game: Vote for your favorite candidate for every U.S. presidential election you want. If you posted already and you want to add some more votes, you are free to do so!

I'll start:

2012: Gary Johnson
2008: Ralph Nader
2004: Michael Badnarik
2000: Ralph Nader
1996: Harry Browne
1992: Ross Perot
1988: Ron Paul

1980: Ed Clark
1976: Eugene McCarthy
1972: George McGovern
1968: (None, all the ones I know are horrible lol)

Oh, I forgot: If you are from the U.S., mention which state you are from. If you are not, pick any state you like. I'm not from the U.S., so I'll pick... Wisconsin. I had a teacher who was born there lol

I'll do de rest later ^^ Your turn!

By "favorite candidate", do you mean who we would have voted for IRL, or do you just mean the candidate we like best, regardless of who we would've supported?

Why would you have voted for Bush in '92? It just seems a bit out of place with your other choices.

2012: Eh, awful choices. I guess Willard Milton "Mitt" Romney (R-MA). Johnson would be cooler, though in all likelihood I wouldn't have voted for him. Voted for Johnson in the forum's mock election as he was getting more support than Romney. Put it down as Romney, but it's iffy.
2008: John S. McCain, III (R-AZ)
2004: George W. Bush (R-TX)
2000: George W. Bush (R-TX)
1996: Robert J. Dole (R-KS)
1992: Not an easy decision, but H. Ross Perot (I-TX) as a protest vote.
1988: George H.W. Bush (R-TX)
1984: Ronald W. Reagan (R-CA)
1980: Ronald W. Reagan (R-CA)
1976: Gerald R. Ford (R-MI)
1972: Richard M. Nixon (R-NY) without hindsight. With hindsight, screw Nixon. I'd vote Hospers, I guess.
1968: Richard M. Nixon (R-NY)
1964: Barry M. Goldwater (R-AZ)

This. The fact that John Kerry lost the 2004 election was one of the greatest blessings the Democratic Party had.
