I just turned in my 30 page paper on the problems with the subpart F system and how to fix it. I am officially on Christmas break now. Cheesy

for whatever f'ing reason I first read this as "I have massive fcking credit card debt".  which presumably isn't true.  which is nice.

I am organizing the music for my mother-in-law's 60th birthday party. A bit of the obvious.. Beatles, Rolling Stones, with some Janis Joplin thrown in and, hell, some Jimmy Barnes for good measure for the old Aussies. Besides a few singles I've downloaded myself over the years, I'm out of solid ideas. I need help. I've looked up the chart-toppers for the mid to late 60's and early 70's, but I want to know much more than just the #1's. There must have been great songs that didn't reach the top that people remember. I want stuff that was huge that they don't even play often on the Oldies stations anymore. I'm probably over-thinking it.
I recommend by personal favorite group, The Band.

Ha ha no.   Other than a modest car payment I'm debt free. Of course I might get pneumonia and die from this cold.  Ugh.

Room mate moved out today, taking the TV and futon with him. Luckily, a pledge brother of mine is also losing a room mate, so it looks like I'm set for the next semester.

I could get used to this, actually. So much space.

Plus, you'll likely get more done if you don't have the TV to distract you.  While I did not make a conscious decision to go TV-less, I've had ample opportunity to redress the situation, and have no desire to do so.  If only I could go Atlas-less as well.  Where's Inks when you need him?

Girl, I've been gettin my swoll on at the gym, big time! Although the actual weight loss hasn't been huge, the results are showing. I'm down 6 inches in my waist, 4 in my hips, gained 2 in my biceps, 2 in my chest, and 1 in my theighs and calfs.

I had a bad fight with my best friend and it was almost entirely my fault.

So sorry to hear that. I have experienced a few situations pretty close to this, and I know how terrible it feels. Although I'm sure you don't need my advice, I think you should try to reestablish contact as soon as possible - and, most important, don't hesitate to apologize.

Pretty sure the girl I almost banged last weekend doesn't want to get together again. I'm not sure if she was embarrassed that I didn't bang her and felt rejected or what, but she's been really quiet and doesn't seem interested in hanging out anymore.

Her excuse is she has a "friend" in town and can't and her friend is apparently here until the day she leaves. Time to block this girl and move on to the next one. No idea what happened here.

Ugh, f[inks]ing bronchitis.  A antibiotic, steriod and inhaler and I should be back among the non-zombies in a few days.  Ugh.  I have bourbon to dry up  my whining sorry ass.  Smiley

Got called a 'evil moralising bourgeouis prick' by the school's resident pseudo-marxist crazy woman. I'm rather proud of it Smiley

It snowed then rained then froze yesterday. My driveway is a sheet of ice.

Same here, minus the driveway.

Question for my fellow beardmen: is it normal for large patches of one's chin area to be completely bare while everything else grows at roughly the same rate?

I have a fairly natural beard, only trimming it to keep it neat, but not shaving any of it.  It's a fairly full beard, but on my lower lip it looks like a capital T because of the bare stripe that goes from each corner of the mouth down to the top of the chin and then turns inward along the border between lip and chin, but the two bare spots don't meet in the middle.

Depends on the person. I was blessed with roughly equal growth, though there was a slight imbalance in favor of one side that seems to have largely evened out. Some are not so lucky. Sad
