Had a dream where I was in a Trump rally at a fancy looking building, possibly owned by Trump, decorated with gold and fancy items and was well light like a church. Looking somewhat out of place was a large black TV mounted up on the rafts near Trump. From my angle I could see Trump and a TV next to each other and the TV was showing what looked like a racing video game from the arcade era of the 90s. This video game announced that America had TIED in the race, and Trump was PISSED. He had a massive tantrum and SHOUTED that he didn't want a TIE, he wanted a WIN. He acted like a child in my dream, like a caricature. My dreamself decided that he was going to vote for Kasich.

Just had a dream involving being teleported onto a plane where the only other passengers were my mother, Hillary Clinton, and her guards. She was very nice and we had a pleasant conversation where she told me about how she patched things up with President Obama after the 2008 primary and I congratulated her on her inevitable victory in the upcoming election. I briefly met with her in the airport as well.

My dream included a rematch between George W. Bush and Al Gore in the year 2196. It was strongly implied that Gore was going to win, Gore looked like he was determined while Bush looked serious but lower energy than Gore. This version of Al Gore was actually a reincarnation of disabled physics scholar Stephen Hawking, who in this world succeeded Bill Gates as the CEO of Ford Motor company in the 1990s (or maybe Gates was the President and Hawking the CEO, I don't remember if they are separate positions). Hawking was experiencing visions of his next life during his death as a result of his body shutting down due to the collapse of a room he was in that was being destroyed by mistake by a gigantic black duckling that was actually very peaceful and cute. (I assumed that being a giant black duck meant that it was a female).

I later traveled to the year 2192 to discover that the election was George W. Bush vs. John Kerry. Bush looked more confident than Kerry, who had to deal with a dirty primary against sore loser Sherrod Brown. Brown had flipped out after losing, accusing the citizens of New Jersey who voted against him of being "bigoted". I also found out the parties were reversed, it was Bush (D) who would defeat Kerry (R) and then lose reelection to Gore (R). Sherrod Brown represented the further right wing of the Republican party in the 2192 primary, Al Gore was very high energy and united the competing wings of the party with little effort in his (all over but the shouting) '96 victory.

There was plenty both before (swimming pools at high school) and after when I was trying to drive a Ford F850 that was actually a late 90s Honda Element that they were forced to brand as a ford because the b*stard of a CEO Stephen Hawking found a minor patent infringement in the SUV. The SUV was basically unfit for driving and the breaks were too weak to prevent a minor fender bender with one of those old Suburu Outback wagons.

Had a dream in which a Trump-lite (with much less of the racism and sexism) populist won the 2020 GOP nomination. Clinton tried to tar him with the Trump brush, but she was tired and unpopular....

377-161

Closest state, and biggest surprise of the night, was Illinois. Economic decline in Chicago during the late 10s recession was probably a major factor in swinging the state, and giving the Republicans the whole of the midwest. IL was really the only state of importance, when it was made too close to call I saw the election as won. The dream implied that I voted GOP.

I dreamt that, while I wasn't at school, I had a job working for a truck company (a company making trucks) owned by a relative of Donald Trump named Trump Trucking. The logo looked like this, obviously differing in what it said below "TRUMP".

I always thought this somewhat thin, kinda old, grey haired guy walking around was glasses with Mr. Trump. However I later met the "real" Mr. Trump who looked much younger, had brown hair with a cross between mutton chops and a chin curtain, glasses, and had about above average weight. He was very friendly but I later learned that he was actually easily offended. Sure enough my house later got a call saying that I had been fired, and I believe it was for a forum post directed at him that mentioned an article critical of him.

However, afterwards I woke up and learned that I still had a job at Trump Trucking, the forum I posted on didn't exist, and the real Mr. Trump was probably the old guy I mentioned before. I didn't actually know for sure, but I know I still had a job before I actually woke up into the world in which there is no Trump Trucking.

The 2020 Democratic primary was shaping up to be Arizona senator Kyrsten Sinema and New Jersey senator Cory Booker, with a Castro run fizzling out. The Bernie wing is effectively marginalized. Neither of these candidates for whatever reason seem strong, so the Democrats need a savior, and they get one: Hillary Clinton runs again. Clinton, with a running mate like Castro, defeats Trump in a rematch. She serves for about 2 years in office, from 2021-sometime in 2022.

Map is like this.

During the GE my attitude is that I'm disappointed that Clinton's renominated, but I oppose Trump enough to make voting for him difficult. In 2023 I'm withdrawn from politics, I have a (surprisingly) positive viewpoint of the H. Clinton presidency because my personal life did well under her and I became financially independent.

So I had just signed up to go to college at a branch campus of Texas A&M university, located in "the other El Paso" - Brownsville.

Apparently it wasn't my first choice as the swimming pool had exploded and the university had its naming rights bought out by a Chinese firm to pay debts. It was an act of everyday rebellion to call the university by it's name, which was technically against the rules.

Socializing with my dormmates, my roommate being a white girl and another friend a black guy, we check out the result of the first Democratic state primary in the nation: Kentucky.

I find out that Richard Ojeda, expected to be a competitor, got a 1.1% last place finish. He was crushed so bad that Robert Mueller, who dropped out and praised Ojeda with almost religious devotion, got double his vote thereabouts. The winner was a sort of "new establishment" character (think Harris).

I dreamt that I was the young recently elected Democratic senator from Nevada. The other senator was a Republican and the state governor was Democratic.

I was expelled from the senate. I didn't know why. I asked the governor to reappoint me and he refused, appointed someone else.

It wasn't about a specific politician but I had a dream about me, frustrated, trying to explain to an African-American civil rights activist that African American turnout was way too low in South Carolina. For evidence, I pointed to Charleston County voting R.

Trump had a pretty easy night against Bernie Sanders. I never dreamed up a map, but I know that Sanders was endorsed by Nintendo which had just released a horror game. I lived in a dorm at work and my Trump supporting boss served up some plateless BBQ pot roast to celebrate Trump's reelection. It was good.

After dinner I joked to my friends that Alachua County FL, along with Union FL, betrayed me. The rest of the dream was about work.

I missed the Ohio Democratic Primary and was really sore about it, to the point were I considered committing voter fraud to vote in the Democrats Abroad primary just so I could have a vote count for Bernie Sanders. At this point, most contests were over - only a few states such as Maine were yet to vote, and while Sanders had the plurality of delegates, a contested convention was all but guaranteed and his odds of being nominated were slim. Bernie Sanders did well in very liberal states like California, which he won, and states where the party is dominated by minority voters, somehow doing very well in Alabama.

The result of the Ohio primary were uploaded in “Andersonian” format on Atlas, meaning that results were split by both counties and Ohio’s hideously gerrymandered congressional districts. The “winner” of the primary, with no more than 17% of the vote, was one of an army of moderate anti-Sanders Democrats that had risen and fallen over the course of the primary, and had won <20% pluralities in most midwestern and heartland states. Figures such as Biden, Klob, and Butti were out of the picture by Ohio. Only thing I really knew about this guy was that he was said to be the “Wesley Clark” of 2020, and he was also compared to Bill Weld who was still running on the other side. Sanders won Athens County and was the runner up in Preble County, but other than that wasn’t a huge factor in Ohio.

The winner of the 11th CD within Summit County, with 0.5% of the vote, is a Ukrainian Band running as a multicandidate who was planning on dropping out and only running for the fun of it. The winner of the 14th CD within Summit county, with 4% of the vote, was some Polish local dude who wanted peace in the middle east. Most of the winners and runners up in much of Ohio were just locals without a real dog in a national race, and many were too conservative for the Democratic party. The winner of my city was the worst: his website advertised him as the candidate for free markets and free murder, and that only a President willing to commit Genocide, starting with the invasion of and extermination of the Spanish, could restore American power and the Capitalist system.

I was in a virtual world, learning about the flaws of a high tech all-indoor socialist utopian experiment inhabited by halflings when I received an angry phone call from Gov. Mike DeWine about a youtube video I uploaded. I initially forgot about, but after Trump won the election I made an angry video implying the people of Kentucky were barely human or something. The video received 0 likes and 22 dislikes, and everyone was appalled about how awful I was to upload something like that. I uploaded it with my real name and even attached my phone number for some bizarre reason. I managed to apologize for the video and wiggle my way into a probably underserved government job.

Had a dream that Joe Biden was so old and frail that he was a pawn of his malicious Danish advisors, I was attending a small rally possibly in the south and was so horrified by the situation I thought about voting for Trump. However, when one of his advisors murdered Jill Biden and tried to get away with it, Joe Biden finally cast them aside. This dream was back at the beginning of the month.

The most recent dream involved Ohio electing the worst Republican governor in the nation in 2022, after voting for Trump in 2020. He defeated a Democrat whose last name starts with Z and was a thinner man with black hair. The governor kinda looks like Wisconsin Justice Daniel Kelly. The US is still dealing with national crises, and the Ohio state government completely refuses to cooperate with the Democrat controlled national government. The result is that Columbus essentially becomes a war zone with hundreds of deaths. The federal government demands the removal of the governor, but everyone in the line of succession is a right wing extremist for various reasons. In the end, the federal government overthrows the Ohio State government and installs a general as military governor.

The 2020 election was held in 3 "rounds". Biden won round 1, Trump narrowly won round 2, and it was clear from early results that Trump would easily win round 3 and hold the presidency.

In 2024 Ohio is the deciding state for Kamala Harris (who won the NPV) by 39 votes. A journalist visiting my hometown encounters me, where I reveal I switched from planning to vote for a left wing third party to Harris because of a hate crime committed against me. A neighbor reveals that he voted Republican all the way through Trump 2020 and also voted Harris, and a factor was the hate crime I suffered. My hometown was well over 60% for Harris.

I have reoccurring dreams about maps of foreign countries, often Chinese provinces or west African countries, being in DRA. Imagine building an R leaning district in Cameroon.

A Central American county - either Guatemala or Nicaragua - had become a major economic power in Latin America. Some wanted it to be a US state - the US had already made states of PR and DC. It already had a non-voting GOP senator, however he was likely to be replaced by a young and charismatic Democratic challenger after a scandal.

I just had a dream that Delaware also existed as a large island nation some ways west of Morbihan in northwest Europe. It was shaped more like Rhode Island but stretched much longer.

Politically the country was depicted as a corrupt dictatorship and an awful place to live. Despite western living standards, the secret police commonly wired people's homes and enforced arbitrary laws against forms of entertainment or music the dictator didn't like. Tourism is discouraged due to risk of foreign visitors being punished or imprisoned for such "crimes" or for not respecting the regime enough or comparing it to North Korea. The country was supported back during the Cold War by the US as a manufacturing bulwark against the USSR, but they are likely to be stabbed in the back by their former allies who probably don't want such an unsavory regime right in the middle of the Celtic Sea. They also haven't been this brutally authoritarian until now

✓ President Joe Biden (D-DE) / Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

Former President Donald Trump (R-FL) / Vice President Kamala Harris (R-CA)

2024 is a rematch of 2020 with a twist: Donald Trump's running mate is Kamala Harris. President Biden chooses a white man from the northeast as his new running mate. I chose Senator Whitehouse as someone similar in appearance but it need not be him.

Although the state map is boring there are plenty of internal shifts. New York and California both trend Republican, North Carolina and Pennsylvania both trend Democratic. Texas is not ready to vote for a Democratic president but is clearly no longer securely red, voting as the least secure by margin (but not raw vote) Trump state. Arizona votes left of Wisconsin, the least secure Biden state. Iowa isn't very close and just has some third party vote, maybe a little closer than 2020.

In general there are some D trends in various R states like Texas and R trends in a couple Safe D states.

As for me, I didn't remember to vote on election day. The morning after I rationalize that Ohio's Safe R anyway and I care significantly less than I did 4 years ago.

At one point in the dream I ask about the NPV and I'm told it's much closer than it was in 2020: Biden +12.5. Rather blatant contradiction.

Major GOP overprefomance of the polls yet again for the 2022 midterms. GOP captures both house and senate, with Vance, Masters, and Laxalt among the winners.
