Last night I dreamt I was helping Bob Menendez in a gunfight against the godfather of the Sicilian Mafia. This took place in a hotel in Iowa City.

A couple nights ago I dreamed that I was back in high school and Richard Ojeda was speaking to my school in the lecture hall.

A few weeks after the 2016 election, I had a dream in which I was a secret agent working for the FBI. I received news that President Trump (who was currently enjoying a 90% approval rating) was going to be assassinated. One night, I attended a costume party in the Oval Office undercover (in an attempt to stop the assassin). The theme was pirate, but everyone decided to wear grim reaper cloaks. When I wasn’t looking, all the senators in the room pulled knives out from underneath their cloaks and proceeded to stab the president (Julius Caesar style). The president was assumed dead, and Vice President Ted Cruz was immediately sworn in. I just realized he organized the assassination, but it was already too late. He blamed the democrats for the assassination and had all of them executed. He named a turtle called Bubblegum as his Vice President and made it mandatory for Americans to make a religious pilgrimage to Mississippi.

Now that sounds like a true political thriller...at least until the turtle part

I think it's pretty sad that it's gotten to the point where I'm having dreams about congressional elections.

Had an oddly specific dream that while a lot of under-30 socialists were elected presidents of Latin American countries, two current left-leaning leaders (Lenin Moreno and Evo Morales) had been defeated for reelection.

Last night I had a dream that Nancy Pelosi was conducting basketball practice and I being the manager asked her why Congress was increasing defense spending.

I had two weird dreams the same night recently.  The first didn’t involve a politician, but another Atlas poster.  RFayette was saying a prayer while slapping me in the face really hard.  It kind of hurt, and I woke up unhappy.

After falling back asleep, I dreamt that my parents were going to host all the living presidents—plus Dick Cheney—at their house.  When I arrived, Bush 43 and Cheney were already there, asleep in front of the TV.  Cheney awakened and went over to see what my mom was cooking.  “Not what I am used to” he grumbled.  Then the former VP glanced at a picture on the wall.  “Is that [Billie] Sutton?,”  he asked.  I told him it was.  “I’m out of here,”  Cheney exclaimed as he stormed out the door.

After that, Trump arrived.  He was, actually, nice.  Then I woke up.

So way back I had a dream where I was working as a legal intern or something for trump during the transition/inauguration, but everywhere we went we went with the Obamas. So the whole dream Barack and I were looking at each other being like "Can you believe this guy?" Very odd, especially since I never have political dreams.

About a month ago I had a really crazy dream that Donald Trump was walking through some cities in California and was jumping over yellow hydrants. And while he did he said "stupid!" over and over again and pointed at certain people.

I dreamt that Phil Scott lost the 2024 gubernatorial election by 1 vote: 4,748 to 4,747. Everything up to that point was mostly the same as in Parrotguys Mayor Pete timeline. I have no idea how turnout was that low in the dream.

I remember in late 2015 I had a dream of looking at CNN and reading that Hillary decisively won the DEM NV caucus. It was when Bernie supporters and virtually anyone young was bashing her and her supporters so I guess it was a wishful dream that came true.

I had a dream last night that the republicans netted two seats in the Senate in November while Democrats narrowly picked up the House. Everyone in cable news and Atlas was talking about how it was a humiliation for Democrats, while some Democrat was saying it was good because it would help build enthusiasm for 2020 if Democrats were weaker.

Last night I had a weird dream that I was sitting on the back seat in a big Jeep before our house and Andrew Cuomo was the driver. Then there was an old woman walking on the boardwalk yelling at the governor after he won the primary: "You only show up when you need votes!"
