We might be too different to make it work.

They'd definitely help to secure some of the more progressive Democrats with their liberal economic views, and their social views could help in some rural swing areas, where my socially liberal views would be anathema.

He would probably be helpful to getting certain swing demographics, despite not seeing eye-to-eye with him on every issue - so lean positive.

I don’t think our political relationship would be very good in the campaign or in office.

I'd feel okay about it. It'd be a well-balanced ticket ideologically and geographically, to whatever extent that matters anymore. (Massachusetts nominee/North Carolina running mate doesn't have an auspicious track record in recent Democratic presidential politics, but...)

Pretty damn good tbh. I think his more traditional outlook would provide good cultural balance, while on ideological points we mostly see (decently) eye-to-eye.

Seems like a decent choice, and would likely help bring Pennsylvania over the edge.

He would definitely help secure the more progressive vote, but I'd wonder if the moderate Republicans who I would try to reach out to for crossover votes would be turned off, overall moderately net positive.

He would be good as a more PR-friendly face to my campaign. We’d also probably get along pretty well on the nitty-gritty once the campaign starts rolling.

I think it would be interesting, but I would probably never convince him to do it.

Edit: This was aimed at Bagel, but Jimmy posted in btw. Ironically, it applies somewhat to him also. Wink

Honestly, wouldn't be the ideal complement to my ticket, as we're both moderate suburbanite Asians from safe states. A solid candidate, though.

I'd feel pretty good about it. Minus the being from the same state thing.
