There's a decent contingent on here that dislikes Huey Long.

Probably Bloomberg and Lieberman. Among columnists, Tom Friedman.

RFK.  Actually, I don't know, but it'd at least be closer than you'd think.

I think his monetary policy has been way, way too timid in practice (I'd prefer the Christina Romer regime), but I agree with the sentiment behind your post.

I've cooled on him somewhat over the past year, but obviously Bloomberg is my choice here.  Everyone obsesses about the guns and the soda and the Wall Street, which is a shame since his real legacy ought to be his excellent, smart, and forward-thinking environmental and transportation policies.

Eugene Debs, obviously

And while we're at it, why don't we put Huey Long up here for being a hick governor?

Eugene Debs would get FF here both from the leftists and sympathetic civil libertarians of all political stripes.

Too many to count, but here are a few:

Mike Huckabee
Gerald Ford
Richard Nixon (aside from Watergate, of course)
Ronald Reagan (though I wouldn't quite say I love him)
Chris Christie
John Boehner
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Joe Lieberman
Joe Manchin
Rudy Giuliani
John Engler
John Kasich
Bob Dole

And, a special mention to the great-granddaddy of them all...

George W. Bush

Ford, Dole, and possibly Manchin and Christie would all get FF majorities, possibly by large margins.

Hillary Clinton and Al Gore both come to mind for me, for U.S politicians.

As for International politicians, Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel both are top of my list.

Fidel Castro. Though I think he would still get quite a few FF votes.

Of Course he's a HP, that's obvious even to a lunatic... Gassing Millions of people (Jewish or otherwise) does that to you.

BTW, what sane person loves Hitler anyways?
