For the Catholics out there; does the Pope have to approve this sort of thing? If yes, it puts a damper on this notion that Francis will be a great liberaliser. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
On another note, the priest
claims that over half of Australian priests approve of women's ordination and homosexual marriage, which if true, would be quite surprising. I kind of figured it'd be hard to be ordained with those opinions and that Catholics with those opinions would be less likely to want to be a priest anyway.
