Why do you color Maine as part of Massachusetts, but not West Virginia as part of Virginia?  (and in 1789 Kentucky as part of Virginia)

Basically, I just want to see what elections would no longer be victories with today's electoral college. It'll be more interesting as we get into modern elections.

Oh. Sorry, you're right, I overlooked that one. Perhaps Jefferson would have sent the country on a better course had he been the second president.
