I will see him and ask him on October 19 during Date 3.  It is a little soon to be throwing out the L word, but she is getting comfortable with me and I am getting comfortable with her.  We did agree last night that we won't even think about the next steps until I get a job.  I'm on track to be finished with school ~March 1, which means no earlier than ~April 1 that we'll start thinking about it.

This seems like a match made in heaven. Bravo to all who are involved in this courtship. The ring will surely go on the finger by the end of October barring some massive breakdown in their relationship, and then we will hear about the plans for the wedding!

After all, it only makes sense that he gets married immediately after he gets his CAD.

My guess is that this relationship will reverse what little progress Bushie's made in his weight loss over the last year.

She's heavy, but she is gainfully employed.  She's been working at the college since 2010.

So far it hasn't.  I'm down to 257 and well on my way to 245-250 by Thanksgiving.  After I lose enough weight, I hope to get her started coming down, too.  I know she'll feel better for it.

So far it hasn't because you've been "dating" for like 2 days...  Are you actually down to 257, or is it 257.8 and you're dropping off the decimal?  My guess is that if you continue to lose weight, she won't, and you'll feel bad.  Has she talked about wanting to lose weight, or do you just "hope to get her started coming down, too" because you think she needs to lose weight?
