Probably, but it really depends on what it is. I've seen pretty much every episode of Bizarre Foods, so I have any idea of what is eaten around the world. I'd be okay with crickets or ants, but I can say with certainty that I would never eat cockroaches or grubs under any circumstance.

I have, and it was OK for a fried food.

Bizarre statement.. frying is the highest form of cookery.

I don't hardly ever go for real exotic or otherwise gross food / snacks. I'm possibly just very American in that sense.

I was at a Super Bowl party a couple years ago to which someone brought some kind of really small insect, dead of course, and they put them in a bowl alongside everything else. A few kids (boys) there were quite eager to try them, and I heard that the bugs (they were referred to as "the bugs" throughout the party) were very salty - so much that would make a potato chip bland - but I just stuck with wine, cheese, and crackers. Emphasis on wine. Didn't want to mix even one tiny bug with that. A cricket? No way.

Sure, why not? Now, a live insect would be a bit harder to eat... Tongue
