I couldn't think of any 2008 scenarios on my own.  So I am going to start a 2008 Primary Adventure where you decide and I make the scenario!

All you do is vote in each round (new round of questions every 1-2 weeks).  The italicized words in the brackets note what selections are considered valid.

1. Economy: 2006-7 were the worst, by 2008 GDP growth back up but unemployment above 6%, consumer confidence weak.
2. Iraq: Still there in big numbers, so not great. The big concern being a big drop in recruitment and talk of a draft.
3. War on terror: No domestic attcks, but several smaller ones overseas. No one has a clue what's going on in Afghanistan (as is the case now).
4. Wrong track ahead of right track.

5. House- Dem
6. Senate Rep

7. Frist- Didn't run, Rep. holds seat with Marsha Blackburn (unfortunately)
8. Allen: Lost
9. Santorum: Lost
10. Pataki: Didn't run, Spitzer gains seat
11. Bush: Didn't run
12. Romney: Wins
13. Owens: Won
14. Vilsack: Won
15. Richardson: Won
16. Clinton: Won

17. Gay marr amend-  Lost
18. Soc security- lost, although increases in max IRA contributions
19. Tax reform: Some form of a win, although just as complex as before.
20. No Child Left Behind: Fail

Tcash,

You don't like Marsha?  Who's your Congressman?

By the way,

House and Senate remain in GOP hands.

Economy remains strong.

Marriage amendment- fails.
Tax reform - success.
Social Security reform - success
No Child Left Behind- nothing ever changes in Public Education.
