Snyder 43
Schauer 37

Great news!

The people overwhelmingly favor letting the moocher city go bankrupt, and not throwing good money after bad.

Most likely the heat is gone from the enactment of Duty to Starve laws.

Rick Snyder has an approval rating of 44%, a significant rebound, and if that is where he starts next year in a re-election bid he has about a 50% chance of winning re-election.

Not surprising if that is true. I was thinking he was going to recover his approvals.

Probably has a lot to do with the situation in Detroit right now, since most Michiganders in polls have said they support the bankruptcy.  I doubt he's going to run for reelection, though.

Considering Schauer is barely loosing to Snyder, while having only a quarter of the state knowing who the hell he is, shouldn't be a cause for celebration among the blue avatars.

It's a cause for celebration considering where we were at a few months ago. Smiley

I have no idea who this PR firm is, but this seems believable. Schauer definitely has his work cut out for him, if he wants to make this truly competitive.

The Koch syndicate will surely throw money into Michigan politics in 2014 and pay lavishly for Orwellian propaganda that tells people that the only way to extricate themselves from economic distress is to accept even more poverty.

Some firm that had Obama and Romney tied in June. Also had Obama +3 3 weeks out.

Junk poll.

Governor races are different and so is prez elections. Dtw has been hit hard and with what's going I on with pension reform in these Midwestern states I wouldn't be surprised if Peters and Rick Synder both won. I think Daley and Schwarze should win though.

Romney was leading Obama in Michigan by 3 points 3 weeks before election day?

Great news!
