Anyway, I'm done playing this game with Inks for tonight.  His self righteous, condemning talk is annoying, but oh well, it affects NOTHING of what I'm doing.

I'm going to bed, folks.  Hopefully, I'm not so cranky tomorrow evening!

Bushie, you better not give up on finding a woman. Why don't you take JJ to the park? A lot of women love dogs. They are great conversation starters. Plus, you'd actually be giving JJ and yourself some much needed exercise.

Bushie, let me ask you a serious question.  You post here and on Facebook that you got out of debt for one of your loans or cards. We know your mom and dad help you and we call you out on it here when you omit those things. Do you think it's very fair to omit public praise to your mom and dad for all they've done for you on your Facebook account?  In essence you are lying by omission and your friends just simply accept what you say. Your parents have changed their whole lives around to accommodate you and I think you should acknowledge that on occasion and not just here when we force it out of you.  It's better not to say anything at all than to take full credit for things you don't deserve full credit for.  Just think about that.

That's a fair point.  I do like to acknowledge their help, although I didn't with that post.  The fact is we both deserve credit.  Mom deserves the lion share of the credit for supplying the money, and I deserve a little bit for combing through my budget with a fine toothed comb, telling her how much I need, and then distributing that money to the appropriate bills and not misusing their money like i have done before.  That was my mistake yesterday, but my friends know the position I'm in, and they know Mom is helping me out.  Thank you for your post.

I'm not saying you need to thank them in every post but just once in a while acknowledgment would be nice and I think they would appreciate it as well. I don't always agree with their methods but I cannot argue the fact that they will do whatever they can for you.

It's not that I don't think you'll ever do anything productive again, it's that you never rise up to the challenges I always give you. That's my angle here. Yet, when I challenge you, you grow defensive and attack me or ridicule me for ever suggesting some things I suggest, yet you prove me right every. single. time. That's not what I want. I want to be wrong, but that has yet to happen, which is not my fault at all.

And grumps is right. It would be nice if you credited your parents with anything actually, instead of taking all the credit for them paying off your bills. Without them, you'd be dead.

The reality is, whenever a challenge presents itself to you that is hard, you give up almost immediately and chalk it up to God's will that it shouldn't happen if it turns out you can't do it while you sit in your parents trailer watching MLB tonight. That's the pattern I see with you and that's why I'm so confident when I say the things I say. Why shouldn't I be? Your track record speaks for itself, and I don't think you're a prophet that God speaks to and will choose to perfect like he did with Jesus' disciples. And yes, I still think that's extremely sacrilegious every time you say that.

And don't give up on love. As evil as some women are, they do make us better people...even me. Tongue

No you're quite right that is what he presents but I don't think he means it.  Just bored/resentful I suspect.

I know you mean well, Duke, and I don't doubt that for a second, but sometimes your posts, just like Inks, make me question it.  I just have to quit posting on impulse and realize you do mean well.

I actually stayed awake 2 whole days this past week - Wednesday and Friday!  Today is excused, it's a Sunday.

Oh, and please don't say that I shouldn't go overseas.  That is just STUPID.  God has called me and if you don't like it, too bad.

This is why people who take religion too seriously are scary.....

Wow, Jeff, if that's not egotistical to the core, then nothing is.  I don't know why I said something this stupid!  Yes, I believe that going overseas is the right thing for me and that will not change, but to go so far as to say nobody has the right to question that and saying they're stupid is ridiculous and hateful.

I apologize, Inks.  The post was directed at you, but I'm taking it back (if possible).  I was flustered last night, and it came out.

At any rate, I wasn't feeling well this evening, so I stayed home from worship tonight.  I stayed home to make sure my headache eases up before class starts tomorrow.  Over the course of the next 9 1/2 months, I will have 10 different courses under the CAD-Mechanical Umbrella.  My first course which I will begin tomorrow is Fundamentals of Computer Aided Drafting & Design.  It will be 120 hours.  If I stay on pace, I get 6 hours every day, 30 hours every week.  So, this first course will be finished on August 30.  I can work ahead if I want as there is no minimum time I have to stay in class.  For my loan, I just have to finish the entire program by December 2014, but if I stay on pace, I will be finished on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

I'm watching the 2013 NFL Hall of Fame Game between the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys.  Some may say it's just preseason, and preseason is pointless, but I don't care - football is back!!

So, it is after 20:00 on a Sunday Evening and I am watching a pretty good football game.  This game should be over by 2215 and I'll probably hit the sack pretty quick after that, definitely by 2300 or before.  My alarm is set for 0500 so I can get up, get into my Bible very first thing, then shave and brush my teeth, update facebook and the forum while watching the morning news.  Class starts at 0740, so I want to be there by 0715, which means I need to leave the house by 0640-0645.  I really prefer to get up by 0445, but my evening schedule won't really permit that, so I'll settle for 0500, maybe 0515.
