There's no way they can. Even if Liz Cheney somehow wins the primary, she'll still win easily against any democratic candidate.

And I find the possibility of Senator Liz Cheney utterly disgraceful. I hope there are other republicans in Wyoming that agree with me. I mean, come on guys.

Actually, Freudenthal would definitely beat Cheney, but there's no way he runs and there's no way she wins the primary so it's not even relevant.

I'm not sure about that. Linda Lingle was demolished last year in Hawaii even after holding on through the 2006
wave.

And a Senator Liz Cheney would be a massive screw-up in my opinion. Maybe even less than Freudenthal somehow running and winning.

The difference is that Hawaiians LIKE Mazie Hirono, while most Wyomingite's aren't huge fans of any Cheney at this point. Freudenthal himself was elected partially as a "screw you" to Dick Cheney.

I'm surprised by this. Has she even been gaining ground?

These right wing radio locusts have no idea where to go. They're no better than non-elected politicos at this point.

Me too, that would be something to watch. I still can't get out of my head how disgusting it is that Sean Hannity endorses Liz Cheney. Of course they're more concerned about getting very conservative members in Congress but he's become nothing but a hack, can't believe I actually used to like him.

I thought dog-fights were illegal in the US, even when two bitches are involved.

Huckabbe endorsed Enzi.

I guess this plus those anti-gay ads pretty much erodes any support Cheney had with social conservatives.

Yeah but it's not like SoCons are a huge factor in Wyoming, except some of the more hardcore Mormons.

But in a GOP primary, especially where Cheney is attacking Enzi from the right?

OK, but haven't polls shown that Enzi is far ahead in a GOP primary, even if most of them are socially conservative?

My point is this helps Enzi. Nuff said.

Dick Cheney: Enzi and I were never friends, he gets most of his money from DC and Wyoming, not DC, will choose their next Senator. Cause the carpetbagger is totally the homegrown candidate.

I always thought the four Cheneys were an unusually close and loving family. I bet the sisters still get along well.

Enzi is ahead internally. No matter what happens there'll be a lot of bad blood within the WYGOP.

I am convinced that the only reason a man who had his first heart attack in his early 30s is still alive today is because there is a God and Satan and neither of them want to spend the rest of eternity with Dick Cheney.

Enzi's internals have him up 69-17. Thats up from 61-21 in August.

Maybe the 'Cheney is too pro-gay' ads are actually having an effect.

That makes me sad that Enzi would tap such a dark vein to keep Cheney down. It's not like he needs to go there to keep her from becoming a realistic threat.

Well, in fairness to Enzi, its not his campaign that running the ads. Sarah Huckabee's PAC is.
