Mentally I pronounce it as /kœʁdaˈlɛn/, but I suppose if I mentioned it in speech I would say /kuɹdəˈlin/. I have no idea if that's how it's pronounced.

I don't like using API, but I have no choice here.

Finally, no, I noticed I would write the same thing than Xahar.

/kœʁdaˈlɛn/, which is probably not the proper way to say it, as œ and ʁ aren't English sounds.

I pronounce it like Coor-Dah-Lenn. Since it's a French word, exact transliteration into English phonetic structures is not possible.

I've actually never had occasion to pronounce it before, although I know where it is and how that combination of letters is 'supposed' to be pronounced (in French). I said it a few times and what came out was /ˌkʰʊʴdəˈlɛn/, which I imagine is closer to the French pronunciation than most English-speakers' but still not quite right.

The French way (I'm assuming there's an accent in Alène).

Checked the etymology on Wikipedia - there should in fact be an accent in Alêne, though neither the one that you, not the one that I had supposed.

Yeah, I see. è and ê have the same pronunciation, anyway (though é is different Tongue).

Though I have mentally substituted the o by an ö, arriving at an aesthetically quite pleasant - though highly unlikely - Franco-English mix that's quite unrenderable within the confines of either French, German or English orthography. (think de, with a weak e, for Americans' 'duh', of course.)

I'm right on the money as for the pronunciation of 'heart' in French:  https://translate.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wT#auto/en/heart

As for the rest, what's wrong with 'dee-ahlaine'?

curr-duh-lenn. The final syllable and dragged out and the "r" is pronounced like an "l".
