Now that I've done Waukesha County, I'm going to do Milwaukee County. Nothing surprises me here besides that St. Francis voted for Obama after voting for McCain the first time. Also Milwaukee got more democratic, which really isn't that surprising considering the massive Urban-Rural divide we are in today. So, here they are:

City/Village                         Obama %             Romney %

Milwaukee (C)                      79.1%                   19.9%
West Allis (C)                       52.5%                   46.1%
Wauwatosa (C)                    50.1%                   48.7%
Cudahy (C)                          56.5%                   42.1%
Franklin (C)                          40.5%                   58.8%
Oak Creek (C)                       45.3%                   53.8%
St. Francis (C)                      55.7%                   43.0%
Greenfield (C)                       47.8%                   51.1%
Glendale (C)                         61.8%                   37.1%
South Milwaukee (C)              53.1%                   45.3%
Bayside (V)                          54.9%                   44.2%
Brown Deer (V)                     63.2%                   35.6%
Shorewood (V)                     71.6%                   27.0%
West Milwaukee (V)               63.2%                   35.3%
Fox Point (V)                        52.6%                   46.6%
Hales Corners (V)                  39.5%                   59.3%
Whitefish Bay (V)                  51.5%                   47.6%
Greendale (V)                       43.9%                   55.2%
River Hills (V)                        41.7%                   57.4%
Milwaukee County               67.5%                  31.5%

Romney's best parts of the county were the suburban south and southwest like Franklin and Greendale and Obama's best parts were obviously the city of Milwaukee and parts of the northeast villages like Shorewood and Brown Deer.

The data in DRA for St. Francis is wrong for some reason. Obama also won it in 2008.

Oh, that's quite weird. Well I guess that's normal then.

Any of the counties with small/mid-sized cities would be interesting: Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, Dane, Racine, Kenosha.

All those seem interesting, I'll start by doing Racine, Kenosha, and Brown tomorrow. Sorry I couldn't answer this earlier, it said there was too many connections all day.

Obama won every municipality, and only got below 50% in one. He even routinely got above 60% in the rural townships. Dane County certainly deserves its liberal reputation.

Yep it does, thanks for this, I knew everything in Dane would be democratic but this gives me a clear vision. Just wondering, since there are very smart people on this forum who know where to get precinct results, would you possibly know some other states to get precinct results from? If you don't that's alright I just think it would be interesting seeing some other states myself.

I admit I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. If you're wondering if I have, or know where to find, precinct results for other states, I do indeed. I have the precinct (and municipality) results for MA, MI, MN, and IA as well as WI, and I have municipality results for the rest of New England, NJ, some PA counties, and CA.

If you want the links, just respond and I'll post them.

Also, do you know where to find the Ohio precinct results for the 2012 election? I've looked on the OH SOS website, and they don't seem to have posted the precinct results yet.

Yes, other precinct results for other states. I would love to see some Midwest states like Minnesota, Iowa, or Illinois. If you can send links, send as many as you know and I'll add them to my bookmarks, thank you.

Apparently I can't post links until I have 20 comments, something I don't have yet. Sorry. Once I do have 20 comments I'll post the links.

They haven't posted the statewide precinct results yet, but if you look at the County Board of Elections websites you can find a lot of them, like Cuyahoga County for instance. I'd suggest googling "[county you want] Board of Elections".

This might work, however it would be very time-consuming. Some counties might not have the results on their websites and I would have to e-mail them, and other counties might have the results in a bad format (I know this for a fact, in fact I did this exact thing for Pennsylvania after the 2008 election). However, I could take care of the entire state in an hour or two if it was all in one Excel spreadsheet.
