Among the likely candidates for either US Senate or governorships in 2013 and 2014 who have not previously held office as a US Senator or Governor, which of them are most likely to run for president one day?
Booker and Cuccinelli seem like the most obvious choices, but I'm wondering who else? Lisa Madigan, maybe? If Clinton opts out of running in 2016, and the Dems nominate a man (e.g., Cuomo, O'Malley, Hickenlooper, etc.), then there'll still be this residual desire from many in the party to nominate a woman the next time around, so maybe someone like Madigan would decide to throw her hat in the ring?
Anyway, anyone else?
