I'll admit that the only ones I've listened to all the way through are Saul, Israel in Egypt, and Judas Maccabeus, though I've heard parts of most of the others.  I've always loved Saul, it might be my favorite two hours of music ever written.  Judas Maccabeus and Israel in Egypt are both delightful as well.

Judas Maccabeus, but I cant really give you a reason why I prefer that to the others. Its just beautiful.

Eh.  I and II Maccabees aren't canonical to the Church of England either but Judas Maccabeus is lumped in with his OT stuff over there, I don't see why it's problematic to do so here.

It's struck me recently that the music I listen to now contains more Handel than not-Handel.

Also, "Hail, Hail, Judea Happy Land" is a ridiculous earworm.
