You speak as if private social assistance is deficient and the government is a worker of miracles. That's clearly just not the case. Churches and youth organizations have done more to combat hunger and poverty than government. Take my home of Appalachia for example, government intervention has entirely failed to solve the issue of chronic poverty. Meanwhile, private organizations like Workforce West Virginia and churches have made large strides in combating extreme poverty.

As far as college aid, the big government top down approach has COMPLETELY failed to make college affordable. An education gets more and more expensive the more the federal government spends. That's not a coincidence. Private aid, however, scales to the value offered by an education. It injects free market variables and increases efficiency. It is far superior to government aid. This bill devastates that opportunity.

The only thing this bill "devastates" is the ability of social parasites to pass on wealth they stole from the working class to their children.

The wealthy are not the social parasites. What is your problem with individuals passing their assets and wealth to their kids? They didn't steal anything from those of us in the working class. We work in their businesses and they pay us. How is it wrong for job creators to profit from the good the working class does for them? It actually gives them more money to promote further job creation.  Keaton has totally nailed it on the head.  The government should make a better argument for why it should have the level of control it currently has rather than the faith communities and youth organizations because the current level of government control is just way too much.

On the citation issue, you just have to look at the level of government aid and the expense of a four year education. They're in lock step. Private college aid is designed to produce the most value for education. It's the nature of private aid. Maximize the productive potential of the recipient.

On the ludicrous pseudo-populist rhetoric, that's just outright absurd. You're evicting widows and their kids. You're kicking them out of their house because the person with their name on the deed died. You are seeing, ladies and gentlemen, the Labor-TNF solution to income inequality. Make everyone poor, homeless, and confiscate their college fund.

Senator, you are yet to answer my criticisms. You go ferociously negative on your opponent and then continue your attacks when they are developing a platform. But here you are, with clear and logical doubts about your record and you ignore them.

I apologize, I hadn't seen your response when I responded to Franzl.

Private aid will only ever help so many people. I am a firm believer in fully public education and will introduce a bill to totally nationalize the university system and make college education free for all before my term in the Senate is up. Tuition should be abolished wholesale and everyone allowed to obtain a higher education based upon their merits alone. I have always been on record supporting this and will continue to support it.

I don't have much sympathy for people who make obscene amounts of money when someone dies to pay back a portion of that to prevent the growth of an Atlasian aristocracy. I have already offered an amendment to shake out some of the specifics of my plan, and rest assured, it will mean that no one pays the estate tax until they reach $1,000,001, an income level that can surely fend for itself. The solution to income inequality is to end capitalism, for it is the system which produces such inequities in the first place. Barring that, confiscating as much of the wealth that the 1% has and has confiscated from the 99% and using it to improve the condition of the 99% is the best we can get. That, plus nationalization of industry, which will remove the source of the 1%ers power over the rest of us.

My solution is socialism. That is, the ownership of the means of production and exchange by the workers themselves, with worker direction of the economy and worker direction of democracy. I do not seek to impress or gain the support of the rich, that is, the social parasites, in the process, rather, I seek the creation of a new order which wipes out the social parasites as a class and establishes true democracy, uninhabited by grafters and enemies of mankind.

First of all TNF, you did, even I did. And to Riley; he's desperate, when you back an animal into a corner, it attacks... His approvals- or should I say diss approvals, are crushing him. TNF is the classic definition of the Pol Pot Pork Pot. He is sitting in his wealth. He is the true 1%, why? Because that's exactly who approves of him. He might envelop himself with him and his communist friends and their ego, but their whole world will be crashing down on them.

And senator, in case if you go "tl;dr" on me, read this:

Your day in the sun might feel great, but next month, your world will be crashing down and don't you dear ask for a runnoff, because The People will rise up against you.

Senator TNF, your days are numbered.

Thank you.

Private aid has helped many people, merit- and need-based alike. What you fail to realize is that when everyone goes to college, no one goes to college. It just becomes four more years on the existing public school system. Then you'll see the development of private grad schools that offer better services and more qualifications.

You talk about the world as if it is a purely philosophical realm. Reality and practicality are to be ignored because "99% Percent!!!" Don't pontificate as if you're intentions are enough to provide for peoples' livelihoods and wellbeing. I can tackle your argument of confiscation-at-gun-point morality but I'd rather bind this conversation to realistic circumstances. The only system in this world's history that has enriched everyone is capitalism. Real communism traded Businessman-Aristocratic plutocrats for Government Thug-type Plutocrats. That is where socialism leads. Not to the enrichment of the poor, but to the impoverishing of rich. It does nothing to create wealth for the most vulnerable amongst us, only to destroy the wealth of the invulnerable.

Your record has been one of wreaking havoc on the core of communities, businesses. Business is the key to empowering communities to improve their infrastructure and their schools. They pay the tax revenue. Conspiring with multi-millionaire union bosses to undermine those vital civic bodies. The union legislation you have proposed over and over is the manifestation of those union bosses wish list. You're agenda is to bankrupt businesses, put people out of work, and embolden the crooks that are union leadership. After doing all of this through government intervention, you'll turn around and blame capitalism so you have grounds to preach about socialism.

Midwesterners, don't believe his feigned concern for the rhetorical "99%." It is in the Senator's political interest to ruin businesses, destroy communities, confiscate wealth, and leave you jobless. It is Labor's agenda for you to be in the worst condition you can be in so they can blame capitalism. They want you angry at capitalism, not at Nyman, for the state of misery they inflicted on you. They want to further the agenda of the millionaire union bosses. So while you're getting your severance check, your Senator will be getting his campaign contribution. I hope it's worth it.

What's a "Pol Pot Pork Pot?"

Someone who has either a very socialist person in office, or a person who has held office for way to long to have the seat be competitive, like the Will Ferrel movie, The Campaign...

In addition to cozying up to the far-right, my opponent has been a steadfast ally of Atlasia's very own Richard Nixon, Senator Tmthforu94, who has and continues to engage in blackmail and all sorts of disgusting, deceitful campaign tactics. I have called upon Senator Tmthforu94 to RESIGN his seat in lieu of these developments, and I encourage my opponent to do the same for Tmthforu94's damaging and destructive acts of bullying and blackmailing another member of the Senate. Will you do that, Governor? Or is taking a stand just Too Much To Handle for You?

After many weeks of bated breath, we all finally got to see my opponent's platform last night, which, unsurprisingly, leaves a lot to be desired. Let's dig in.

It's pretty simple, reduce the retirement age for 55 and cut payroll taxes, it will be very likely that it will reduce receipts for the system and it will increase spendings since people will retire sooner. There's no sustaintability on this model or do you think differently?

Except I have already noted that I would divert general revenues into the program and fund the program that way. That's a much better solution that what my opponent is offering, which is, upon further investigation, apparently the privatization of Social Security, which I cannot support under any circumstances.
