I might just be checking the wrong sources, but I've not found any that mention deaths yet.  Not that I doubt it, but could someone provide a link that whatever they're watching?  Googling the newspapers isn't turning up the same thing either.

(I don't have a TV, so can't check that way)

There have been reports of violent Islamists - the homegrown amateur type that don't get anywhere and wouldn't get to the point where you could arrest them without secret service contacts egging them on at every step, usually Roll Eyes - talking about attacking marathons, as mass gatherings with little security, for years. Just saying. Heck, they worked that into the excellent movie Four Lions.
Of course anybody could have taken their cue from that, not just a Muslim.
I thought this immediately. Shopping malls, Christmas tree lightings, etc, have been the more recent targets. Usually an Al Qaida figure will give some assistance but will not be directly involved. This attack reminds me of the butt-bomber from Christmas, 2009.
