If no one takes credit is it really act of terror. The whole point of using terrorism is to push your political agenda by targeting civilians. But if you don't take credit then how will people know about your cause?

At least in the old days, al Qaeda never publicly claimed credit for their attacks.  They just tried to sow chaos, made public announcements about their ideology, and left it up to law enforcement to connect the dots.

Still, Wicker can't be said to be a proeminent senator. If someone asked to guess which Senator received a poisoned letter, I would name most senators before him.
