For the purposes of this exercise, any county where over 100,000 votes was cast is considered large.

So far, Obama does better in the small counties in SC, MA, and NH. I haven't done any number crunching, but I'm pretty sure Hawaii will be in the same boat. Any others? AZ mat be close.

Very interesting stuff. New Hampshire in particular is pretty interesting, it must be the only swing state that has rural more Democratic than urban.
