Not surprised. Bring on the C-team. Can't believe NH Pubs don't have any decent candidates.

Really hope we don't have to settle for Ovide Lamontagne.

The Boston Globe indicates today that Brown is still thinking about it. It must be really hard to take it off the table when he obviously wants to run and no one else has stepped up.

Guinta and Bradley are seriously thinking about it. Given that the primary's in mid-September, 'twud be extremely messy.

Really hope we don't have to settle for Ovide Lamontagne.
Ovide isn't even interested. He just took a job as counsel for a pro-life organization.

Maybe Brown will go for it after all; if Brown won New Hampshire, pubs pick up WV and SD, Michigan might become a belwhether in terms of the senate for the night.
He won't win, and honestly they're better off running Guinta or Bradley. We don't like carpetbaggers here in New Hampshire.

It looks like we won't be seeing any more of Ovide Lamontagne on the electoral scene, either.

It's kind of hard for Brown to speculate about bailing on Massachusetts right now...

If Brown doesn’t run, and NH Pubs get really desperate, they always have Mitt Romney Wink.

Aren't those Republicans who trolled Rice to get Kerry so that Brown could run again pissed at him?

The preview said that the GOP likes Brown in the primary, but he doesn't do well against Shaheen. Waiting with bated breath for the results.

I'm hoping for Guinta or Bradley.  Not Brown, because that would just make him look like a carpetbagger.  My hope is the one that doesn't run for the Senate runs for Governor; if not, I'd love to see Peter Bragdon oust Hassan and bring New Hampshire back to it's good ol' Yankee Republican roots.

Brown gets trounced 52/41, though ironically that's by less than any of the natives.
